Balancebox - Bookshelf
One of the advantages of the Balancebox is easily reaching the upper shelves.
In this video, the Balancebox is used for a moveable cabinet in “Das Haus for Wirtschaft” in Germany. This is specially designed for people who cannot reach the upper space in a bookshelf due to physical restrictions. However, these advantages can also be enjoyed in normal house applications in which the upper shelves are difficult to reach.

In balancebox makes it possible to adjust the height of the wash basin, without any power. The user unlocks the system by lifting the handle on the side of the wash basin. This Balancebox (BB-Lock) can be ordered in the fourth quarter of 2009.

What if you need something from the upper shelve of your kitchen cabinet and you can't reach it. The only way to reach this shelve is by climing on something (eg. a stepladder). This could lead to dangerous situations AND will cost you more time in the kitchen.

Balancebox – Microwave application
Microwave: not on worktop, but still useable on eye-height
The Balancebox makes it possible to store your microwave out of sight in a wall cabinet. This way, you will save valuable work top space , without compromising kitchen design.
When you want to use the microwave, you can pull it down with your fingertip. While in use, the microwave will stay in the lower position, so you can see what happens. After use, the microwave can be pushed back in the wall cabinet.

LCD-TV screen floats at every height
De Balancebox enables you to put your screen on every height. A small push is enough to make it move, it will stay in every height.
The Balancebox that is shown in the video, can balance screens of 10 to 45 kg and has an extension of 400 mm. The Balancebox will be available with a VESA-compliant mount, so that your screen can be easily attached.
